D01 ARRIVAL PHNOM PENH – CITY TOUR
Arrival in Phnom Penh, transfer to hotel
Visit to the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda (2 hours)
KING Palace and Silver Pagoda: The Royal Palace was built on the grounds of the former citadel Bantey Kev (dating back to 1813). Some areas of the sprawling Royal Palace are inaccessible as the palace is also the official residence of King Norodom Sihamoni. The Silver Pagoda is often referred to as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha or Wat Preah Keo. The wooden temple was built in 1892 by King Norodom. The entire floor inside the pagoda is laid out with more than 5000 silver plates, which together weigh about 6 tons.

D02 PHNOM PENH – BATTAMBANG
Depart at around 08.00 from Phnom Penh to Battambang (291 km) with a stop on the way at the Farmhouse Smiling Gecko for short visit and lunch. D03 BATTAMBANG – SIEM REAP
Today at around 08.00 discover an old colonial town Battambang.
Battambang is the western provincial capital and second largest city of Cambodia. The city lies on the banks of the river Sangke and divides the city into two parts. It's worth a visit to the modern city center and the old built in the French style shop houses, and museum. A visit to the outskirts of the city located, dating back to the 11th century, WAT EK Phnom in the period it occurs Angkor.
Drive from Battambang to Siem Reap (170 km) with visit the Puok Silk Farm
Puok Silk Farm: It is located 16 km away from Siem Reap. Visitors to the various steps of silk production shown: from the mulberry tree planting to silk weaving, from the cultivation of mulberry bush, to the silkworms, the cocoons, spinning, weaving to the production of the product, which is sold.
You will be in Siem Reap at around 15.00

D04 SIEM REAP – FULL DAY TEMPLE TOUR
Sightseeing Angkor temples full day
Today starts at around 08.30 to visit the temple Banteay Srei, who is considered the "jewel of the crown" of all Angkor temple applies. This little, out pink sandstone-made temples is about 1-hour drive outside of Siem Reap and houses innumerable small figures and Devotional objects and the walls form Stories from the Hindu Past.
Visit the Angkor Butterfly Centre (30 minutes)
It is located on the road to Banteay Srey and covers of 3 200 sqm. You can easily find numerous butterflies which are in Cambodia at home.
Touring a sugar palms village (30 minutes)
We stop at a small village on the way to the temple of Banteay Srey. A street vendor prepares palm sugar and we buy some dice for home. Palm trees provide many benefits to the Khmer population through the stalks, leaves, the stem, the fruit and the flowers, which form a toddy with a clear smell and taste. This juice which is produced from palm sugar, primarily for local consumption. (The presence of sugar palm producers and hand work program depending on the season (not open between May and October).
Visit Angkor Thom (2.5 hours)
Angkor Thom: The royal city of Angkor Thom covers an area of 10 square kilometres and was built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII from 1181 to 1201. Surrounded by a long wall and a deep ditch, this city contains Angor's most popular sightseeing spots. The footpath of the south gate is lined on both sides with statues of gods and demons, each carrying a huge Naga, and grants entry into Angkor Thom. In the Center of Angkor Thom are the main temples such as the Bayon, Baphuon, the Elephant Terrace, and Terrace of the Leper King, Phimanakas and the former Royal Palace.
Bayon: The Temple Mount of King Jayavarman VII stands in the Center of the royal city and is one of the main attractions among Angkor's many monuments. The attractions include the winding paths, the steep stairs and in particular the impressive collection of the spooky Teurme with over 200 smiling faces. Baphuon: The pyramid shape represents the mystical mountain Meru and marks at the same time the Center of the former city Angkor Thom. Phimeanakas: Near the place where once the Royal Palace stood within the city Angkor Thom.
Visit temple for sunset (90 minutes)
Watch the sunset over the Cambodian countryside from the upper terraces of an ancient Angkorian temple.
Return back to hotel at around 18.30

D05 SIEM REAP – SUNRISE AT ANGKOR – TONLE SAP
Begins early morning at around 05.00. Enjoy beautiful sunrise by Tuk Tuk at Angkor Wat and visit Angkor Wat.
Angkor Wat: King Suryavarman II temple dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. Its construction lasted over 30 years and is one of the largest and most complete sacral buildings worldwide. In Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world and provide an view into the history of Hindu mythology. Angkor Wat was declared in 1992 by UNESCO, together with the other temples in Angkor a World Heritage Site.
Visiting the temple Ta Prohm (80 minutes)
Ta Prohm: this temple is belonging to major attractions of Angkor as it is natural, overgrown forestland and thus still almost looks, as did the entire temples when they were discovered by the European researchers.
Then take an excursion in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia and visit a floating village. The village moves with the water level.
